This is psychomotor skill testing for students who have completed the online and/or in-person EMR/EMT course.

State testers will be performing the NREMT-required testing skill stations.

Our Training Center provides a professional and comfortable atmosphere that allows the student and testers to be proficient and ease the exams.

  1. Please bring a copy of your  EMR/EMT completed course certification.
  2. Please get in touch with the office at 763-576-8146, if you will be attending the test; so we can prepare the state testers.

HSI’s CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.

Required for Successful Completion (Certification)

Written Evaluation
Optional except when required by organizational, local, or state regulation.

Skills Evaluation
Students must perform the required skills competently without assistance.

  • The folder is given on the first day
  • Watch with a secondhand
  • Laptop to register with NREMT, EMSRB
  • AHA BLS CPR included in the class
  • PSYCHOMOTOR skills are an extra fee

 

Required before completing:
1.  https://www.nremt.org/rwd/public – Renew your account
2.  http://emsrblm.mn.gov – Follow prompts of yes/no. sign in and fill out an EMS application for new or refreshing certifications.
3.  http://training.fema.gov/is/nims.aspx – FEMA certificates are required for all new and refreshing students. Do sections 100, and 700. Print off both certificates and bring them to class. No testing of practical skills if this is not completed. If this is already achieved bring in copies
4.  https://cattonline.com/medical-professional/ -Online concussion training link, click the first chain link for medical professionals; then start the course. When a course is complete,  you will get a certificate. Bring this to class.
