EMT Hybrid Instructor Lead Course
(An EMR certificate can be obtained and then continue to receive the EMT certificate)
LAB Sessions Dates:
Jan. 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, 29th, 2/1-Exam for EMR, Bridge starts Feb. 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, 19th, March 4th-Exam
June 3rd, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th-Exam for EMR; Bridge starts 20th, 24th, 27th, July 1st, (OFF the 4th), July 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th- Exam.
AHA Basic Life Support CPR (BLS) is included in the Lab, with no extra fee.
*20th/EMR testing is OPTIONAL. *BRIDGE Course for Current EMRs, Nurses, or qualified students begin the EMT Course starting on June 20th.
You DO NOT need to have the online work completed before the Lab dates. The Online work can be completed while in the course, before each lab session.

NEW BRIDGE COURSE, CURRENT EMR TO EMT
Bring each session:
1. A mask to wear during the course; gloves will be provided
2. Temperature checks and COVID practices within our job descriptions are followed

April 6th Scenarios and Practice NREMT equivalent testing. April 8th Psychomotor Skills testing.

1. A current copy of your EMR Certification card.
2. Laptop to redeem your eCode for the online and eText.
3. If you are current, bring an AHA BLS CPR card to class, then you will not need to do it in the course.

Hands-On Portion BLS:
Skills Sessions for In-Person Practice and Testing
For American Heart Association courses that include psychomotor skills such as CPR, students must complete an in-person skills practice and testing session to obtain an AHA course completion card.
With AHA Blended Learning, the skills practice and skills test are taken together during a Hands-on Skills Session after the student completes the eLearning portion online.

9:00-5:00 PM

Nov. 4th, 18th, Dec. 2nd-Exam
Jan. 6th, 20th, 27th-Exam
Feb. 3rd, 10th, 24th-Exam
Bring each Lab session:
- AHA BLS CPR included in the class
- The folder is given on the first day
- Watch with a secondhand
- Last day a Laptop to register with EMSRB
These are Lab and testing sessions only, all coursework is online. You are able to go to different lab sessions as long as you complete 1-6.
