Heartsaver First Aid and CPR/AED teaches participants to provide first aid, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. Based on the latest American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on session.

Our CPR and First Aid courses reflect the latest updates in medical science and education standards as per the 2025 Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

These two-part courses include online instruction followed by a mandatory hands-on skills session, sold separately, to achieve course completion. (Hands-on is required to achieve a card). See CPR/AED and First Aid course page for more details.

BLS CPR Course

These classes are for a healthcare BLS CPR course

The American Heart Association’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. The course reflects science and education from the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

HANDS-ON skills only

  1. Each corresponding online course has a hands-on skills component that must be completed before a card can be acquired.
    The online courses that require the second module to receive a card are listed below.
  2. Each hands-on session will take at least an hour to complete. If there are more than one course combined, the session will be longer.

This is for the session for a Healthcare BLS CPR course. This skill session will include skills of Adult, Child, Infant in CPR, Choking and AED.

Heartsaver First Aid Online

This is for the session for a Adult First Aid course. This skill session will include skills of Adult First Aid basics.

Heartsaver First
Aid CPR AED Online

This for the session for a Adult CPR/AED and FA course. This skill session will include skills of Adult in CPR/AED, Choking and First Aid basics.

Heartsaver CPR AED Online

This for the session for a Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED course. This skill session will include skills of Adult, Child, Infant in CPR/AED, and Choking. The course may or may not include all three skills.

The BLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings, as well as individuals enrolled in a healthcare training program.

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency.

Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion eCard, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
