EMR Hybrid Course

MN Board Peace Officer Post approved.  CE’s are obtained with classroom attendance.

 

Online learning at your individual pace, with an interactive program that has many different modules to meet you learning style.  Full access for 2 years. EMS professionals assist each student over the phone, email, and In person Lab sessions.

Lab session dates:

May 2nd, 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th Holiday No class, 30th-Exam.

May 30th, June 3rd, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th-Exam

July 13th, 20th, 27th, Aug. 3rd-Exam

AHA BLS CPR included in the Lab, no extra fee.

Monday and Thursday’s; 5:30-9:30 PM or Saturdays 0900-5:00 PM Lab sessions.

You DO NOT need to have the online work completed prior to the Lab dates.   The Online work can be completed while in the course prior to each lab session.

Minimum age of 15 years old to begin this program is recommended.

The EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) is a vital part of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system. The EMR is trained to get there first-the point when a difference can be made between life and death.

The training which you are about to undergo is focused on just that. You will receive the knowledge and skills to save a life, as well as the skills to comfort a patient at the height of the crisis. You will be able to provide care that flows seamlessly into the care given by emergency personnel on the ambulance.

The Emergency Medical Responder Hybrid blended program (48 hours total), includes Online course, Lab time, psychomotor practical skill stations, and a written exam.

We will cover Airway, Cardiac arrest management, Bleeding control, Back boarding, Splinting, and Vital signs. Patient assessment is the main focus of this course.
